Tom Anderson is a recognized and experienced leader supporting the Defense and Civil agencies of the US public sector in areas of Information Systems, Health Sciences and Engineering Services. He has 35+ years of experience in leading both publicly traded and privately held organizations.

Prior to joining Centre Law and Consulting, Tom founded DataStrategi, LLC, a GovCon management consulting firm focused on the Aerospace and Health Services markets. Management Consulting services and Technology Solutions included data management, data analytics and Artificial Intelligence. The firm focused on small to emerging mid-tier companies during critical times of their growth.

His career has included senior leadership assignments at SAIC, where he contributed to the development of the business strategy for the company’s Health Services business and later co-led the development of SAIC’s five-year strategy. Prior to that, he served as Group President at Wyle, where he led an organization of 1,500 employees combining the capabilities of information systems, health sciences and engineering. At CSC, he served as President of the $1.3B Civil & Health Services. He led the daily operations of a business encompassing Civilian Agencies, the Health Services practice, the State and Local business and Canadian operations.

Prior to CSC, Tom served as a Chief Operating Officer at Raytheon Company, where he created and developed Raytheon Information Solutions, an organization focused on combining the disparate information systems offerings of the firm. At Federal Data Corporation, a prominent small business government systems integrator, he spent 13 years with the company as it grew through a sale to the Carlyle Group and then to Northrop Grumman. He began his career with Boeing Computer Services, serving in various operational capacities and Program Management positions.

He served as a Board Member and then as the Public Sector Chairman of TechAmerica, a nonprofit trade organization bridging commercial industry and government supported by 400 member companies.

Tom holds a Master of Science in Technology Management from George Mason University and a Certificate from the Federal CIO Council. He was Chair of the GMU Technology Management Capstone Advisory Board from 2007-2011 and has been Chair of the GMU MSIS Capstone Advisory Board from 2015-2017.
