Government contracting is fundamentally different from commercial contracting. One major area of difference is that contractors are required, in many circumstances, to self-report serious civil and in some cases criminal violations to the government. This program will examine those self-reporting requirements, including:
- What must be disclosed to the government, and what does trigger the disclosure requirements;
- When must (and should) required disclosures be made, and to whom;
- Should a contractor conduct an internal investigation prior to a disclosure; and
- How do these disclosure requirements fit in with a contractor’s Government Contract Compliance and Ethics program?
