Heather Mims is an associate attorney at Centre Law & Consulting. Her practice is primarily focused on government contracts law, employment law, and litigation. Heather has extensive experience litigating bid protests before the Government Accountability Office. She also has experience working with contractors on claims and appeals, government contract terminations, and subcontract disputes. Heather also works with government contractors to develop enforceable teaming agreements and subcontracts.
Jim is a practicing acquisition expert with more than 30 years of experience in business operations, acquisition, and the FAR. Jim has been directly involved in the origination of thousands of agreements including Teaming Agreements, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Subcontracts, Joint Ventures, Mentor-Protégé Agreements, and joint proposals. He has led strategies and team formation, pricing, staffing, solution development, and competitor analyses. . Jim has considerable knowledge and practical experience of the buy-sell of the government from both the buyer and seller sides.
Carri Miller’s experience includes managing purchasing and subcontract departments in support of federal and state contract awards. This includes establishing policies and procedures to manage acquisition within small and large businesses. Carri has built multiple procurement systems, supported DCAA voucher audits and DCMA CPSR audits.
